1C8X3:Radar, Airfield & Weather Systems

They design and analyze systems, including programming, operation and maintenance, resource management, and security. They also direct the installation, maintenance/repair, overhaul, and modification of related equipment and systems. This includes air traffic control, weather, ground aircraft control, and meteorological and navigation systems.

Military Duties:

Overseeing the maintenance of air traffic control and various warning radar systems Installs, repairs and maintains fixed and mobile air traffic control systems, weather radar, ground control radar and other warning radar systems Also is tasked with the installation and maintenance of such equipment as radar operator training devices, aircraft identification equipment, remote systems, video mappers, computerized processors, and communications subsystems. May be asked to serve as part of a ground radar maintenance inspection team

ssist with the development of QA software for our testing facility Oversee the production of all software products created by our design and programming team Monitor and review quarterly data based on suppliers' reports Review and process all purchase orders in accordance with company policy Provide quarterly inspection data and quality assurance reports to senior management Institute development protocols for validation plans Participate in all QA meetings Provide software engineers and developers with necessary analysis tools
