12-B:Combat Engineer

Also known as "Sappers," these soldiers supervise or assist team members when tackling rough terrain in combat situations. They're experts in mobility, counter-mobility, survival and general engineering. They build defenses to protect the troops or destroy obstacles in the way of combat troops movement, including mines and minefields.

Military Duties:

Combat engineers' mission is to supervise or assist team members when tackling rough terrain in combat situations. The combat engineer must exhibit expertise in mobility, counter-mobility, survival, and general engineering. You will learn to build defenses to protect the troops or destroy obstacles in the way of combat troops movement.

Military Duties Translated:

Respond immediately to citizen calls for assistance and to alarms triggered at homes and businesses Maintain a presence in the community that helps to deter crime and provide support to citizens Help to secure crime scenes and ensure that evidence is not removed or tampered with Act as a police presence at public events and provide security for municipal gatherings Identify potential criminal activity or other hazardous situations and take the proper actions to protect citizens and property
